How It Works

From zero to EU-compliant Digital Product Passports in 4-8 weeks. Six steps, one platform, AI doing the heavy lifting.

A platform, not a consulting engagement

Traditional DPP compliance takes 6-12 months and a team of consultants. Aura replaces that with a self-serve platform where AI handles the complexity — regulatory research, data mapping, supplier communication, and document extraction — while you stay in control of every decision.

Step 1: Import your products

Drag and drop a spreadsheet, paste a catalogue URL, or describe your products in natural language. The AI analyses your data, maps columns to the product schema, classifies products to GS1 GPC categories, and deduplicates automatically. Existing products are matched by SKU and updated.

Step 2: Map your suppliers

Import your supplier base from a spreadsheet or enter them manually. The AI researches each supplier online, infers what they manufacture, and maps them to products using GS1 GPC category matching. Every proposed match includes a confidence score and waits for your confirmation.

Step 3: Collect supplier data

The platform sends structured data requests to your suppliers via email. Each request includes a secure, tokenised portal link — no supplier account required. Suppliers upload documents in any format. The AI extracts certificates, material composition, carbon data, compliance declarations, and facility information automatically.

Step 4: Generate QR codes

One-click GS1 Digital Link QR code generation for your entire catalogue. Batch export as individual images, CSV manifest, or ZIP archive. Every scan is tracked with geolocation, device intelligence, and bot detection — at zero impact on response time.

Step 5: Build your DPP pages

Choose a template, apply your brand colours and logo, and let the AI dev agent customise the page in real time using natural language. Deploy to your own domain with automated CI/CD. Support for all 24 official EU languages.

Step 6: Launch

Your Digital Product Passports are cryptographically signed as W3C Verifiable Credentials, QR codes resolve through a GS1 Digital Link resolver, and your compliance score updates in real time. When the EU central registry goes live, Aura will handle the registration automatically.
